The Hershey Symphony opens its 50th season with a second helping of possibly the world’s best known and beloved composer with “A Tribute to John Williams: Part 2. Their first John Williams tribute concert of a few years ago was so well received that they decided to create a SEQUEL with the great film themes that they couldn’t get to last time. After all, he’s given us more than 100 films from which to choose. From the magic of Harry Potter to the deep feelings of Saving Private Ryan, to the suspense of Jaws (and, of course, the FORCE), reality becomes whatever the MUSIC dictates. And, for something new and exciting, Carol Jantsch, Principal Tuba for the Philadelphia Orchestra, joins the orchestra for a performance of Williams’ blockbuster tuba concerto.
