2:00 PMTo mark 50 years in the professional world of dance, Viktor brings together local dance schools and professional artists from across the Northeast for Arabesque: an evening showcasing ballet and a variety of dance styles, benefiting the Four Diamonds Foundation at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. Proceeds will support childhood cancer care and research.
Why come? Experience exceptional artistry from a teacher whose life was transformed by dance. Rescued from an orphanage at age 10, Viktor trained and performed across the Soviet Union and with the Donetsk Ballet Company in Donetsk, Ukraine. He has taught in the United States for 34 years and is an Honorary Professor at the Ukraine Academy of Dance in Kyiv.
This is the first presentation of Arabesque in Hershey, bringing together inspiring students and accomplished professional artists for a moving, high-caliber performance featuring both classical and contemporary works, along with a diverse range of dance styles. Designed for audiences who appreciate outstanding performances, it promises an elegant and meaningful evening of artistry.
Viktor has a long history of using dance to give back. In previous years, he produced a benefit performance supporting childhood cancer research and has also raised funds to aid the children of Ukraine. This year's performance continues that tradition, with all proceeds benefiting children and families facing cancer through the Four Diamonds Foundation.
Join us for Arabesque—an unforgettable evening of artistry, compassion, and the power of dance to make a difference.
